01 / The challenge
Supplier invoices arrive as PDFs in a shared inbox, in four different ways of writing an amount, often twice, and sometimes one invoice covers five clients. Purchase costs never made it into the numbers.
02 / What it does
The reader checks the inbox, takes every PDF attachment and skips copies before anything is read: same file, or same supplier and invoice number.
- Inbox
- No duplicates
A model reads each invoice; code checks it. Excl plus VAT must equal the total, and an amount that could mean two things is never guessed but goes to a person.

- Human in the loop
Each invoice becomes a row in the purchase workbook, per month and per order, with lines split over the clients they belong to.
