Terms of service
These terms cover a booked week and anything you buy on the shelf. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are
5DAYS is a design studio in Rotterdam, registered in the Netherlands. Where these terms say we, that is us. Where they say you, that is the person or company that books a week or buys a file.
What you book
You book one working week, Monday to Friday, and one package. What that package contains is on the pricing page, and that page is part of these terms. We do not work on your project outside the booked week unless you buy an add-on.
Price and payment
Prices are fixed and published. €999 holds the week. The remainder is due ten working days before the week starts. If the remainder is not paid by then the week is released and the €999 is not refunded.
Moving or cancelling
You may move a week once, free of charge, more than ten working days in advance. Cancelling more than ten working days in advance is refunded minus ten percent. Inside ten working days the week is yours and cannot be resold.
What you must give us
One page of input before the Friday preceding your week, and one person who can approve. We start on Monday with what we have. Missing input does not extend the week.
Revisions and direction
Monday ends in a direction lock. Revisions improve the direction you approved. A new direction reopens the concept and is a new week, not a revision.
Ownership and licence
On Friday everything is yours: source files, exports, and the working files. Fonts are licensed to you where we can, and named where we cannot. We may show the work publicly unless you tell us in writing not to.
Liability
We are liable up to the amount you paid for the week. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or anything caused by material you gave us that you did not have the right to use.
Law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the court in Rotterdam.
